Product Description:
- This Titanium Micro Anchor is the most popular universal Anchor base used by professional piercers.
- Made from 1 solid piece Grade 23 Titanium (Titanium 6Al-4V-Eli ASTM: F-136)
- It is not recommended to use other materials, such as stainless steel anchor, which may cause severe inflammations under the skin. However, it is safe to use stainless steel threaded ends with titanium anchors, as they are above the dermal layers of the skin.
* Anchor are sold per piece. Individual threaded tops sold separately.
- Measurements for the 14 gauge base:
-- 1.6 mm thickness rise
-- 6.2 mm total length (most secure)
-- 0.5 mm thick base (thinner = most comfortable)
-- 2.5 mm rise (Shorter = shorten healing time)
-- 1.2 mm internal thread (fits the anchor tops we sell)
